We here at the Snakepit Husbandry and Propagation Center have been breeding Red Tail Boa Constrictors since 1977 for the pet trade. Our snakes are sold throughout New England an as far south as New Jersey.We decided to put up this page for those who are intrested in the life cycle of these magnificent reptiles. The  pictures are of mating,the gestation period, the birth, and finally the first meal.

We get between one hundred and two hundred baby boa`s a year, our`s are born from feburary to june each year for over the last 20 years.We breed for the domestic pet trade.
